Where is the water source?

The Århus Spring in Iceland, where the Icelandic Glacial is sourced, is one of the largest natural hot springs in the world, with over 900,000 cubic metres of water spilling into the ocean every day, constantly replenished as rain and snow gradually filters through the uninhabited, untouched lava fields.

Do you sterilize by heat?

This water is not heat-sterilized, so you can enjoy the flavor of pristine spring water drawn from the springs of Århus, Iceland.

What is pH?

pH stands for hydrogen ion concentration index and is classified as acidic, neutral, or alkaline. Icelandic Glacial has a pH of 8.4, which makes it alkaline. Since the human body has a pH of 7.4, which is slightly alkaline, Icelandic Glacial's pH of 8.4 is said to be ideal.

Is Icelandic Glacial soft or hard water?

With a hardness of 21ml/L, it is ultra-soft water. Hardness is determined by the amount of calcium and magnesium ions contained in 1L of water. Water with a hardness of less than 60 is classified as "soft water," water with a hardness of 60 to 120 is "moderately hard water," water with a hardness of 120 to 180 is "hard water," and water with a hardness of 180 or more is "extremely hard water."

Where is the expiration date displayed?

It is printed on each bottle.

How long will it be stored?

The expiration date is printed on the bottle and is valid for two years from the date of manufacture.

How do I store it?

If unopened, store at room temperature and consume as soon as possible after opening. Avoid storing in direct sunlight, high temperatures, high humidity, or in places with strong odors.

Is it safe to use in baby milk?

Icelandic Glacial is a low mineral water, so it can be safely used as milk for small children and babies.

Is it okay to take it with medication?

Icelandic Glacial is a low mineral water, so it is safe to drink with medication.

Can plastic bottles be recycled?

Icelandic Glacial bottles are made from BPA-free recycled plastic, and the caps and packaging are all made from recyclable materials.

Are you taking environmentally friendly measures?

The manufacturing plant is a fully sustainable operation fueled solely by geothermal and hydroelectric power, Icelandic Glacial was the world's first certified carbon-neutral bottled water, and the company invests in renewable energy, forestry, and resource conservation projects around the world.

Do you have any sparkling water products?

Icelandic Glacial's product lineup includes sparkling water. It is currently not yet available in Japan, but it is planned to be added to the lineup in the future.

Can plastic bottles pick up smells from the storage location?

If plastic bottles are stored in a place with a strong smell, the smell may transfer to the cap or container, so please be careful about where you store them.
